1. Institutional Status & Scope

Welcome to the official digital platform of Sarjom Buta Foundation (“Foundation”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). The Foundation is a non-profit company incorporated under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013, having its registered base in Dumka, Santhal Pargana, Jharkhand, India.

By browsing our website, making donations, enrolling as a volunteer, or downloading statutory accountability documents, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Online Donations & 80G Tax Receipts

• All financial contributions made to the Foundation are strictly utilized towards charitable, educational, healthcare, ecological, and rural livelihood programs across Jharkhand.
• Donations are eligible for tax deduction benefits under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961 (subject to prevailing statutory regulations).
• Upon successful transaction completion via our secure Razorpay gateway, an official electronic receipt with a sequential receipt number (e.g. SBF/DN/00001) is automatically generated and emailed to the donor.
• Donations once confirmed cannot be cancelled or refunded except in cases of verified duplicate accidental charges, which should be reported to our secretariat within 7 working days.

3. Volunteer Network & Registration

• Individuals enrolling via the “Become A Volunteer” portal agree to provide accurate and truthful contact information.
• The one-time ₹199 volunteer registration and induction processing fee is utilized for administrative onboarding, digital membership records, and field program mobilization.
• Volunteers are expected to uphold ethical conduct, respectful community communication, and high cultural sensitivity when working with rural and tribal families.

4. Intellectual Property & Field Media

All website materials, photographs, logos, annual reports, audited financial disclosures, and project documentation are the intellectual property of Sarjom Buta Foundation or used with proper community consent. Unauthorized commercial reproduction is strictly prohibited.

5. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal disputes arising out of the website or foundation operations shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Dumka, Jharkhand.
